Filmmaker telling local stories. Elliot Riseman is a student at Tufts University pursuing a dual degree in Cognitive and Brain Science and Film and Media Studies. Elliot seeks to understand the different stories people tell and the underlying psychological mechanisms and social factors of their creation. In 2024, Elliot researched alongside the Irvington Historical Society to produce a series of short documentaries on local history that have garnered awards in film festivals on multiple continents. He is currently working on promoting local arts groups at Tufts and building his portfolio and film skillset.
